Movember Madness - A Giveaway

I have a husband and two grown sons. Adam is 26 and Jonathan is 16.

Facial hair removal is a constant around here, although I have to admit, it's something that's not really on my radar. They shave. Or they don't shave. I don't really notice...unless it gets too scruffy. Then I'm kind of a mental patient. (I know. Shut up.)

So here came November and the movement across the country called "No Shave November" or "Movember." The original concept was for men to stop shaving for the month of November to call attention to men's health issues. Again, something not on my radar. (Don't judge me.)

Eric already has a goatee. For Jonathan, I think it was more of a case of the I-can-finally-grow-a-beard-without-much-effort time in his life. So he was all in.

But, of course, I'm the mom. The Cuban mom. So there are rules:

1. You can grow your beard, but keep it neat.
2. Keep it out of your mouth. (Ew. I know, right?)
3. Please shave your cheeks so you don't end up going all "Wolfman." (You know what I'm talking about.)

Jonathan decided he could probably do a fair goatee just like his dad.

He was right. Exhibit A:

But every now and then he would start getting lazy. (I guess face-maintenance is a big deal and can be time-consuming, as all personal grooming tends to be, but that's not important right now.)

This is about a 2 day growth and he started looking a little homeless. I wasn't having it.

Around the beginning of November I got an email from Braun. Would we like to test and review one of their products? Specifically the Braun Cruzer Face?

It couldn't have come at a better time.

Jonathan spent the month of November trimming and cleaning up his cheeks, while he grew out his goatee with this little marvel. Mami was happy, he got to keep his man-card and he looked great. Win!

I had to just keep reminding him to use it so we could do a comprehensive product review, of course. *wink, wink*

And so, November has come and gone (almost) without too much can-you-please-shave-that-scruff-or-so-help-me drama. In fact, it was quite enjoyable to see my son looking forward to the ease and comfort of using the Cruzer Face.

He cleaned up that neat little goatee and his skin was baby soft. Thanks, Braun!

I have 3 men in in my life. Hubby and 2 sons. Nope they didn't participate in the No Shave November. I don't really like facial hair on guys. On some it looks ok, but I don't like it on my husband! Yes my husband would definitely like one of those shavers.

I have five guys in my world (one husband + 4 sons)...all of them shave except my 16 year old who cannot grow facial hair, much to his chagrin. My 27 and 20 year old participated in no shave November.

A clean, well trimmed beard or goatee is nice, but I HATE (with the rays of 100,000 suns) those stupid "soul patches". Dude, is that the best you can do?? ;-D

I know one of my kiddoes would enjoy owning one of those shavers!

My son and husband love shaving their heads. During football season they (me) paint the Seahawks logo on their shiny pates when they go to the home games (except not the cold winter ones...brrr!). They would love the beard/head shaver!

My 18yr old son informed me about No shave november...but I have the same rule..keep it neat so you don't look like a homeless person.
Love my husband's beard...one day he thought it would be a good idea to shave it all off. We did not speak for days--I couldn't even look at him LOL

And here I was thinking that my 15 year old son was pulling one on me when I asked him to shave and he said no - he was not shaving and it was for a good cause. There really is a "No Shave November"!! Must go and apologize to him....the apology would be better with a CruZer Face Shaver!

Hola! My love has been certainly participating in Movember! Aka an excuse not too shave for Thanksgiving! Definitely needs a Braun cruzer face to shape up the hair. It looks easy and this looks like a must. Day 2 homeless lol, is overrated I love your picture captions!

Son yes, me no. He seems to be all the rage in the female community actually..

I've had 100% good results from all the appliances I've ever had from Braun, and there's been quite a few, kitchen mostly, including a terrific full size mixer from the early 80's that won't quit.
In the past couple of years I've made the switch from Phillips to Braun shavers, it's superior. (model 580).

So there, I said it, and I'm not even in the running for this, so it's just got to be true... :)

No one in my immediate family participated in the no-shave thing, but I did have fun keeping tabs on your men through social media ;-)
I don't mind a little bit of facial hair on guys, like a well-maintained goatee.
Hubby would love either of these, his trimmer is "vintage" at this point, he's due for a new one.
I am not a good looking hairy guy, but I am married to one. ;-)
