I'm wearing a hairnet. And I'm posting the photo on the internet for the world to see. And I'm pretty okay with it.
WHO AM I??
I have a wonderful giveaway for you today. But let me just tell you how it came about.
The Cuban Heritage Day Committee (of which I am a proud member) had a meeting at the Gaviña Coffee Roasters plant. You know how much I love coffee and I love the Gaviñas, so of course I said YES!
I've taken this tour a couple of times and I swear to you it never gets old. Plus the amazing fragrance of fresh coffee is everywhere and quite intoxicating.
The freshest beans, the highest standards, the most delicious coffee - it's not accidental that Café La Llave® is one of the best espressos out there. And for us Cubans, good espresso is...everything!
So we toured the beautiful plant. I'm not going to post photos of the rest of the committee in hairnets because I'd really, really like to keep my friends, thankyouverymuch.
But here we are afterwards, in all our Cubanity, after having toured and having been fed. And having had our über-fresh cortaditos.
I'm so grateful to our lovely host, Leonor Gaviña for her gracious hospitality. And to the Gaviña Coffee Roasters for their generosity in providing today's awesome coffee giveaway.
Full disclosure: I was given a bag of Gaviña Coffee Goodies to enjoy and another to give away. I was not otherwise compensated to write this post. The opinions and text remain my own.
The Gaviña Coffee Bag Giveaway contains the following:
- 1 Cafe La Llave® Espresso Green Tote Bag
- 1 Don Francisco's Coffee Mug (that's my fave)

Cortadito is my favorite drink...I haven't perfected it like the folks in Miami, however, as a Cuban daughter I keep working hard to perfect it and make my parents proud. I don't drink any other coffee, making cortaditos and café con leche daily for myself and my family I could totally use the free coffee, along with all awesome giveaways. I'm in Pasadena, California and don't access to a cup of cortadito, so I make my own and pan con mantequilla every morning on the way to work. Thank you Marta.

Hola. I have to tell you I love just about any kind of coffee but I lived in Miami for over 22 years and the Cuban influence has inspired my taste. I love espresso and cafe con leche. I love it so much I bought my own cuban coffee maker at Navarro. My Cuban friends taught me how to pour just a little cafe into my azucar and stir making the chchchch sound. This greenga loves cuban cafecito.

Cafe con Lethe is my fave and I prefer to make in my house- it's like sunshine in my belly.though if I need one on the go-not a problem though then it's called a latte... Living in New York finding it is no problemo.

1. Espresso
2. I usually go to my mom's or my abuelita's house to have it. If they're busy, I'll go out into the world.

I enjoy most coffee drinks. My husband Gene usually makes me a cappuccino most mornings. But, there is something about a great cup of coffee when you can find one. Then every so often, especially in the summer, I crave those mocha frapiccinos at Starbucks. Coffee is one of those wonder drinks don't you think so?

Cafe con leche is my favorite. I love it at Black Bean Deli in Orlando.

Cortadito is my thing. In Miami I'm surrounded by Cafés so I go to get my fix. When I travel, I either take along a cafetera or sometimes I do without
