The best thing at the game is sharing the "cubaness" of that special game day. What more could you say ? Music, food interaction with those whom we share a proud heritage as a culture & in the game of baseball. Azúcar!!!

My favorite thing to do at a game is to actually enjoy the game as well as the whole atmosphere - the beautiful weather, the crowd, the hot dogs, and best of all - the family & friends I'm with. I used to love going to games with my father. And while I can no longer do that, I have awesome memories of soaking in games in the sun while my dad would tell us about baseball (or béisbol) in Cuba. Going to games was a great family tradition that I hope to pass on one day too. Go Doyers!

Eating hotdogs and cheering on doze bums! From Bklyn to LA and Miami!!! There's nothing better than Cuban Heritage Days at Los Doyers!!!

Stadium snacks are the best. Big soft pretzels, soda, popcorn -- there's no explanation for this phenomenon but they all taste better at a game.
I came across your blog via FB and am enjoying it so much, even with all the regular Cubanity here in Miami.
I love seeing it celebrated in other places!

Wow, That is some amazing items. I would love to win this. I am proud my parents were Cuban. Now that they are both gone so young. I identify more and more with my heritage and my culture.

My favorite thing at a baseball game is singing "take me out to the ballgame". It really lets me be part of the game. All of us, home team, visiting team, we all set aside the rivalry we all just are a part of such a wonderful event.

Spending quality time with my family, especially "mi viejo", and "la pelota" was the sport we watched, talked about and even argue about. Love singing "Take me out to the ball game".

My earliest memory of pro baseball is watching the Dodgers play in 1979. My favorite thing to do at a game is watch the specific things that players do just before the pitch. Somethings done make no rational sense. It must be mania or for luck. Who knows?

We love making the Dodger game a family day, eating peanuts in our seats and love singing "take me out to the ballgame"

I just traveled from Miami to Chicago to see the Opening Night of Gloria & Emilio's Broadway-bound play "ON YOUR FEET" (which is AWWWW-SOME!!!) and was lucky enough to bump into their whole family having dinner at an Italian restaurant the night before the show. (YES! Of course we took LOTS of pictures! But that's not important right now...) To say that "THAT experience was more thrilling than seeing their amazing show" would be an understatement. Made our entire trip to Chicago totally worthwhile!

I AM CUBAN, very proud of it, and live in NewJersey since 1969. My grandmother, R.I.P, taught me about baseball and was a loyal "home team" NY Mets fan. Grew up with that love of baseball, yet, I did not go to a see the Mets in person until I was an adult! Loved , loved, LOVED and still LOVE it!!! My mom, who now lives in Miami (20 years), just turned 76 in May. I was able to surprise her and take her to her FIRST baseball game on her birthday! She agrees with me, that there is nothing like being THERE.... BREATHING BASEBALL!!! And that's the best part! We love everything about it!!!!!!

Baseball games remind me of my Dad. He used to take my brother and I to see the New York Yankees back in the day. Today I like to go and remember those good ole days of my young dad and us as kids.
